Camshaft bolt inhaling (engine M 110)


  1. Install camshaft bearings in a forward part of a casing.
  2. Establish persistent washers on the forward end of camshafts, grease bearings and insert shaft from a back part of a casing.
  3. Establish back covers of a casing with new laying, insert and tighten bolts.
  4. Clear the interfaced surfaces of a casing of the camshaft and a head of cylinders and establish laying on a head of cylinders.
  5. Lower a camshaft casing on a head, then dip bolts into engine oil and insert them into place together with washers.
  6. Tighten bolts in three steps till the provided moments in the sequence, return that that it is specified in the drawing. Be convinced of free rotation of both camshafts. Put gear wheels and pushers of cams.

  1. If the oil supply phone to support of the camshaft was picked up, establish it into place and tighten bolts.
  2. Grease bearings of support and insert the camshaft from the back party of the engine.
  3. Establish support on pins of a head and insert bolts.
  4. Evenly tighten bolts the specified moment, moving from the center to edges, then slightly weaken bolts of a head and tighten them the specified moment, again moving from the center to edges.
  5. Check free rotation of a shaft. If it is turned hardly, so bolts were tightened unevenly and the inhaling should be repeated.
  6. Establish a persistent washer on the forward end of the camshaft.
  7. If the engine is on the car, establish a camshaft asterisk.
  8. Turning the engine or the camshaft, bring serially each cam in situation in which its ledge is turned up, then dip a cam pusher into oil and put it into place, wringing out the lever valves down. Establish a lock spring on a collar and pull it on a valve pusher by means of the screw-driver.
  9. Keep in mind that valvate gaps should be regulated after installation of a head of cylinders, otherwise they will decrease after an inhaling of bolts of a head.
  10. By means of the lamellar probe be convinced that the axial shift of the camshaft corresponds to specifications.
