2.9.20.5. Removal, check and installation of the thermostat

- Partially merge liquid from the cooling system.
- Where it is required, disconnect wires from the switch of temperature of the air conditioning system on a thermostat cover.
- Turn off bolts and uncover the thermostat, leaving it attached to the top hose. Remove a pro-masonry ring.
- Take the thermostat from a casing.
- For check of the thermostat suspend it on a thin rope in a vessel with water. Gradually heating water, notice temperature at which the thermostat begins to open. Continuing water heating, notice temperature of its full opening. Take the thermostat from water and be convinced that it is completely closed in a cold state.
- Replace the thermostat if noted temperatures differ from the required data or if it is not completely closed in a cold state.
- Clear the interfaced surfaces of a casing and a cover and put a new pro-masonry ring.
- Install the thermostat in the sequence, the return to its removal; put a new pro-masonry ring.
