Dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish a drive flange on the back end of a secondary shaft (temporarily) and reliably fix it in a vice vertically.
  2. Turn off a nut since the forward end and remove the synchronizer III and IV of transfers and the blocking ring.
  3. Remove a persistent washer of the III transfer, a gear wheel of the III transfer and the needle bearing.
  4. Release a shaft from a vice and remove a persistent washer, a gear wheel of the I transfer and rollers of the needle bearing from the back end.
  5. Establish the conducted shaft in a vice so that the gear wheel of the II transfer was from below, and the hammer with brisk of soft metal lower it down so that the internal holder of the needle bearing I of transfer was released.
  6. Release a secondary shaft from a vice and remove the internal ring, a persistent washer (if it is available) blocking a transfer synchronizer I ring, the synchronizer I and II of transfers and blocking a transfer synchronizer II ring.
  7. Remove a persistent washer (if it is available), a gear wheel of the II transfer and the needle bearing.
  8. Wash out all details in solvent (kerosene) and carry out fault detection. Pay attention to existence of spiral (ring) springs and balls.
  9. Put on each ring of the synchronizer its conical seat in a gear wheel and carry out by the probe measurement between teeths of gear wheels less than 0,5 mm, replace a synchronizer ring.
  10. Disassemble the synchronizer. When dismantling the synchronizer with spiral springs it is necessary to wrap it in fabric, to note the provision of a nave concerning the coupling and then to pull out a nave from the coupling. As soon as the nave leaves there will be a shift of crackers, balls and springs (guides of springs are provided on the transfer synchronizer V). Replace worn-out details and collect the synchronizer, having placed springs and splines in a nave. Then, holding splines in the pressed situation, partially enter a nave into the coupling. Place balls one by one in a nave and when all three are established, push a nave entirely in the coupling. Pay attention that the synchronizing rings of I and II transfers have a bevel on one corner. At installation it is necessary to check that the bevel was turned towards a cogwheel of the II transfer.

Dismantling of the synchronizer

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To disassemble the synchronizer with ring springs, it should be noted the provision of a nave concerning the coupling, then to remove a spring ring (only for the transfer synchronizer V), to push out a nave from the coupling and to pull out crackers and springs. To replace worn-out details on new and again to assemble the synchronizer, having redeemed nave situation concerning the coupling.
  2. Notice that the ends of springs mown at an angle have to be in the same cracker and that springs have to watch in opposite directions.


Assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish an intermediate shaft vertically in a vice with soft (aluminum) sponges so that its back end looked up. In process of installation of details grease them with pure lubricant for gear wheels.
  2. Install the needle bearing II of transfer on a gear wheel of the II transfer and a persistent washer (if it is provided).
  3. Establish the synchronizing ring of the II transfer on a gear wheel of the II transfer and press knot of the synchronizer I and II of transfers on vents.
  4. Install a transfer synchronizer I ring on the synchronizer, put a persistent washer (if it is provided).
  5. Heat an internal ring of the needle bearing I of transfer and quickly to its napressuyta on the place on conducted to a shaft by means of a mandrel.
  6. Put rollers of the needle bearing, a gear wheel of the I transfer and a persistent washer. Record on the place a gear wheel of the I transfer and the needle bearing a piece of a tube and a nut of a flange.
  7. Turn a shaft in a vice (the back end looks down) and fix it. Install the needle bearing III of transfer and a gear persistent washer (if it is provided).
  8. Establish a transfer synchronizer III ring on a gear wheel of the III transfer and a napressuyta knot of the synchronizer III and IV of transfers on vents, having directed the shlitsevy party of the coupling forward.
  9. Screw a nut on the forward end of the conducted shaft and tighten it the moment 8,0 кгс.м, record a nut in a shaft groove.
