4.3. Dismantling of the transmission

When dismantling the transmission (T) in case of difficulty it is allowed to use wooden (plastic, aluminum) the hammer, making easy percussions.


Dismantling on the main knots

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Clear outside of KP kerosene and dry.
  2. Remove coupling elements (the lever, the release bearing, a coupling casing).
  3. Merge oil through an opening of a drain stopper and establish it back.
  4. Remove the lever of inclusion of a backing and the V transfer, previously having noted its situation concerning a shaft.
  5. Remove a lock ring and a washer from a shaft.
  6. Turn off bolts of fastening and uncover fastening of the mechanism of gear shifting, previously having removed leads.
  7. Turn out bolts of fastening of a forward cover to KP case, having noted the provision of laying of adjustment of an axial side play of the bearing.
  8. Block a flange of an output shaft and turn off a special nut a koronchaty key.
  9. Using a stripper, remove a drive flange.
  10. Disconnect bolts of fastening of a back cover and remove it.
  11. Remove a worm gear wheel of the drive of a speedometer from the conducted shaft.

Four-stage KP

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a backing gear wheel from an intermediate shaft.
  2. Take out an intermediate shaft of a backing and disconnect an intermediate gear wheel from a fork of the choice of transfers.
  3. Turn off a nut since the back end of an intermediate shaft and remove a backing gear wheel.

    For dismantling simplification temporarily establish into place a flange of the conducted shaft, establish the fixing core and include the highest transfer (IV or V).

  4. At stay in neutral situation take out gear shifting forks from the sliding couplings of synchronizers.
  5. Using small beards, remove a cylindrical pin from a clamp of a fork of inclusion of transfer of a backing, take out a switch axis.
  6. Unbend lock washers, turn off bolts of fastening of lock plates and turn off a nut since the forward end of a secondary shaft.
  7. Using a stripper, remove fixing plates of basic bearings and take out bearings of an intermediate shaft.
  8. Similarly remove forward and back bearings of the conducted shaft.
  9. Install a metal tube on the back end of an intermediate shaft for ensuring latching of a gear wheel of the I transfer in the needle bearing.
  10. Raise the back end of a secondary shaft and take out a main shaft through a forward part of a case.
  11. Remove a main shaft, a ring of the synchronizer IV of transfer and the needle bearing.
  12. Shift the coupling of the synchronizer III and IV of transfers to the provision III of transfer.
  13. Shift an intermediate shaft back and take it through a side window of a case.
  14. Shift a secondary shaft back and take it through a side window of a case.


Five-step KP

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Take out gear shifting forks from grooves of synchronizers.
  2. Turn off a nut since the back end of the conducted shaft. For deduction of the conducted shaft from rotation temporarily move couplings of synchronizers on simultaneous inclusion of two transfers at once.
  3. Turn off bolts of fastening of an intermediate case and remove it together with bearings. In case of hard landing it is possible to leave the bearing on intermediate to a shaft.
  4. Remove a stripper a gear wheel of the V transfer from an intermediate shaft.
  5. Turn out bolts of fastening of an intermediate case to the main thing and remove laying.
  6. Beat out a drift a cylindrical pin from a gear shifting clamp, the back course / V transfer and shift a doggie in extreme forward situation.
  7. Pull out through a side window a mandrel of a stopper of the back course / V transfer with a spring and a ball of a clamp.
  8. Separate an intermediate shaft with a backing gear wheel, having exempted the last from an inclusion fork.
  9. Remove an intermediate shaft together with a gear wheel of the V transfer, the needle bearing and a ring of the synchronizer.
  10. Remove a stripper a backing gear wheel, the synchronizer V of transfer and a ring of the needle bearing of a gear wheel of the V transfer.
  11. Take from a case a fork of inclusion of transfers the back course / V transfer.
  12. Take out a prismatic spline from an intermediate shaft and remove laying and a gear wheel of a backing from shlits.
  13. Examine the laying established between the synchronizer and a gear wheel of a backing regarding fault detection.
  14. Remove both segment splines of a secondary shaft.
  15. Turn off a nut of the bearing of the forward end of a secondary shaft, using simultaneous inclusion of two transfers for fixing of a shaft.
  16. Uncover bearings a back part of a case and take out laying of adjustment of axial shift.
  17. Take out an internal lock ring and the bearing of the leading shaft. Remove the bearing of a case and a maslorazbryzgivatel.
  18. Remove the back bearing of a secondary shaft.
  19. Record a metal mandrel a gear wheel of the I transfer from shift from the needle bearing.
  20. Take the ball bearing (if it remained) from a case or remove from a forward part of a secondary shaft. If the roller bearing is installed, then it is necessary for you, using the hammer with soft brisk, to tire out back a secondary shaft together with the roller bearing and a conic insert (if such is available). At the same time the assistant raises primary and intermediate shaft.
  21. Remove a main shaft and the bearing, a ring of the synchronizer IV of transfer and the needle bearing. At the same time the intermediate shaft is at the bottom of a case.
  22. Move the coupling of the synchronizer III and IV of transfers to the provision III of transfer and, having displaced an intermediate shaft back, take it through a side window of a case.
  23. Displace a secondary shaft back and take it through a side window of a case.
