6. Cardan transfer and back bridge

Design and technical characteristics

Cardan transfer consists of two tubular shaft with the intermediate support fixed on the basis of a body established on the ball-bearing. On the forward and back end of each shaft there are elastic couplings with the aligning plugs. Shaft are connected among themselves by a hinge crosspiece.


Zadny Bridge

Zadny Bridge is podressorenny, with gipoidny main transfer. The leading gear wheel of the main transfer rotates in roller conic bearings. Zadny Bridge is attached to a back part of the basis of a body. The drive of back wheels is carried out by hinged shaft. The leading gear wheel of the back bridge is established on two conic roller bearings. The differential is executed on two planetary gear wheels established on one shaft.

Drive of back wheels

The drive of each wheel consists of two ball hinges of equal angular speeds since angular movements of cardan hinges are insignificant, their wear is minimum.
